How do you temporarily turn a PHPBB boards offline?

I've got this dam reported site attack back, despite fixing it and changnig passwords etc. I want to just take the board offline alltogether, but be able to to switch it back on again later. Is there an option that does this somewhere? Thanks

Don't have it myself but...
Admin -> Control Panel -> General -> Board Settings and Disable Board
