Bizcamp Limerick II

    Just received the email below and thought I would share with the entrepreneurial minds on boards.





    As you registered for Bizcamp Limerick I we now want to let you know that we have started to organise Bizcamp Limerick II!
    This time it will be organised through the Greenhouse Incubator (www.greenhouselimerick.com).
    There is no set date yet but the plan is to run it early in October. Location will off course be in Limerick.
    Having taken your comments after the previous event in consideration I will limit the number of concurrent talks/presentation at the next event and make sure that there is stricter time-keeping.
    I am also working at having a sufficient number of Angel investors and VC funds represented at the event. Both to talk about what it is like at their side of the negotiating table and to meet possible investment opportunities.
    What will be the same is that there will be *no* charge to attend and that the whole purpose of the event is for people to learn from each other about what is involved in setting up your own business, what the pitfalls are, where you can turn for advice etc.
    As everyone learned at the last event it is also a perfect networking opportunity!
    At this early stage I would appreciate feedback, comments & suggestions from you on what you would see during the next event. Who should we get to talk, how should it be scheduled and whatever else you would like us to organise on the day.
