Any tips or pointers for Vendee region holiday?

    I want to book a holiday for my wife and I + five kids. It seems that availability is not great for mid August for a three bed. We were thinking of 13 to 25th. Does anyone know of specials or campgrounds in the general area of Jean de Mont? Is it any cheaper to deal direct with the campground? If so, has anyone got phone numbers?

    I was only looking at the Vendee for myself next year during Bastille( I am highly organised :rolleyes: )

    and found sites in St Jean de Months

    with

    I was personally looking at La Baulle and Jard Sur Mer myself.

    All of these sites allow you to book accomodation only or ferry & accomodation packages.

    Try Le Bois Dormant campsite. We're just back from there and would highly recommend it. Booked thru Siblu.ie for best deal.

    Siblu = Old Haven holidays company who still operate in the UK who are and were the most expensive people to travel with.

    They have the best parks but were wildly expensive.
