    Is there much stock left?
Might take a trip over in the morning.

When I was there this morning at 11:00 a.m. I got a lot of Barbie / Polly in Pockets / Puppy in Pockets (I was shopping for 2 girls under 6). There was a wide range of baby toys - fisher price etc., kids laptops (20 euro) - and the staff seemed to be re-stocking shelves with different items. There were no bikes. I'd say go over and have a look - you might get lucky. They open at 10:00 a.m. Good luck and lets know how you get on.

No it's only Toymaster Clearwater as far as I'm aware - they opened up there about 4 years ago they weren't doing the business; so are getting out of Clearwater (that's Finglas) their other stores don't have the 50% offer to the best of my knowledge

Will report back if I get over in the morning.
Would be shopping for a 6 year old so Barbie and the likes would be of interest at 50% off! :)

I was over again this morning just for a look - and there was still plenty to be got -they had those motorised buggy type cars and lovely doll prams and work benches - some baby born things, barney's, scooby doo's etc.,

    Hey!

I popped over this morning around 11am. Still a good bit of stock left.
Picked up HSM dolls, crayola trace and projector thing, some playdoh sets, twister and disney monopoly. Some baby annabel clothes and accesscories for her baby annabel. Crayola colouring books and pencils. Just to fill the stocking! ;)

They seemed to have more left for boys. Loads of CARS merchandise, as deelite said they have motorised jeeps etc. Massive swimming pools, Barbie type writters.
Loads of puppy in my pocket and polly pocket.
Very little HSM stock, a few Barbie bits.
Lovely MDF kitchen which turns in a desk you get a chair with it reduced for 100 to 50. Perfect for a 3 or 4 year old. DD a bit big for it.

Good Bargains though! Spent 51 euro and got a good few bits.

Been today, good selection of board games still there. We found bike helmet for a fiver only , as well as some small stuff for little ones to play with in the bath. Watch out for playdoh though, when we opened it at home it turned out to be dry and quite hard to mould in any shape.
Btw, it someone is an avid trekkie, the whole selection of merchandise from the latest movie is still there - got BIG Enterprise model for 15 EUR and loads of figures.

Got any pics or links to the Enterprise model you're talking about please CmdrRiker?

Toymaster in Galway shut years ago, it used to be in the Cornstore down from Charlie Byrnes bookshop and next door to Mountain Trails bike shop but its been a big hair salon for years now, used to love that place when I was a kid. Toy city in the Wellpark Retail centre is abandoned now, Ive looked through the windows and theres loads of stock sitting on the shelves in there for the last few months, sign of the times. Even before the current trouble you could tell they werent doing well though, I used to work in the Eye cinema during the Summer and called in a good few times on my break out of boredom, it would be just me and 10 staff in an aircraft hangar sized shop, there were never any customers, the prices on the games upstairs were ridiculous aswell, games that were released years ago still going for €65 and such, I knew they werent going to last.
