Vasoconstriction

Can someone please explain to me what this means exactly? As someone with numerous bulging veins, I'd like to know if using vasoconstrictors will help the situation or do the opposite, make it worse?

Anything I've read online has confused me somewhat. Thanks.

See your doctor for medical advice.

But vasoconstriction means narrowing of arteries due to smooth muscle in their walls tightening.

Venoconstriction means the same except for veins.

If your bulging veins aren't causing you any harm, then leaving them alone would be the sensible thing. But see your GP to discuss them further.

Thanks. The veins are not painful but I can't help but look at them most of the day and it's really annoying me at this stage. Is there anything that I can do myself to reduce the look of them? I've even developed a habit of pretending to scratch my head etc to keep my hands and arms above heart level. :(

Your GP is the best bet for you
