I know I'll probably be crucified by the non public servants reading this forum but what the hell I'll ask the question anyway.

Out on the sick at the moment and actually had to go to the GP today for the first time in years.
Had to shell out €55 for the pleasure of him telling me that he could not give me an antibiotic.
Anyway the question is, as a member of AGS, can I claim this back through medical aid?
The info on the website is not really clear to me and would you believe it, after a good few years service I've never had to make a claim.

Don't be worried your paying YOUR money every week into Medical Aid just like anyone else would pay into VHI or QUINN. It's not cheap either before people go off on that one, I pay nearly €60 per week.

    Claim Away lad, Claim Away!

You have to go to the doctor anyway as per regulations.
It states you have to look after your health and you can be disciplined if you dont.
(piece of useless information there for ye)
