The colour is brutal and clarity isnt mentioned. What the hell is Purity?

Gives a new meaning to their "Zen Engagement" policy, eh.. eh?! :pac:

Seriously.. they'll probably send you an actual carrot, and claim:

    a) their website description was incorrect.. and has now been changed to reflect it's 18 carrots you get.
    b) you can only return it for a replacement - another carrot or alternatively, a nice and ripe tomato.
    c) their "volatile stock system blah blah blah" (aka "listen, we just threw it out our office window and hoped for the best")

    C'est la vie!

the referenced purity is the clarity.. P3 equivalent to I3

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_clarity

"Included category (I) diamonds have obvious inclusions that are clearly visible to a trained grader under 10x magnification.[2] Included diamonds have inclusions that are usually visible without magnification or have inclusions that threaten the durability of the stone. The I category is divided into three grades; I1 denotes a higher clarity grade than I2, which in turn is higher than I3. Inclusions in I1 diamonds often are seen to the unaided eye. I2 inclusions are easily seen, while I3 diamonds have large and extremely easy to see inclusions that typically impact the brilliance of the diamond, as well as having inclusions that are often likely to threaten the structure of the diamond"

this is not a bargain.... it would be a waste to buy it.. imho

Ah diamonds, the most impressive marketing scam every thought up...

De Beers are amazing, if you don't buy her a diamond you don't love her, utterly genius and disgraceful in equal amounts.

You mightn't want to open it if you are in a work place where people are easily offended

For the love of god, somone please move this to the ladies lounge.

Could you imagine how she's react to a diamond bought from an online camera shop, your nuts would be in plaster for a few weeks !

Plus imagine the hassle if you bought the wrong size and had to send it back to them to change it, you woldn't see that bad boy for at least 5 weeks !

There's a shop up the end of temple bar (cows lane i think which is behind isoldes tower off parliment st) that specialise in buying used engagement rings and selling them on cheaper than normal jewellers...I knew a girl who had 3 rings from previous broken engagements over the past 5 years and cashed them in for 5 grand to pay off her car loan last year.
