It was big enough when I played it about 2 or 3 years ago,the main place to play (models inc.) has now moved to a much more accessible location (jervis st.) so I think a lot more people will start playing again.

I really like but want to just play it casually I don't have a custom deck so I always worry that I'ill go and have my ass handed to me.

    Hi there,

Magic is alive and well in Dublin. Best to come along to gamers World on Jervis Street to meet a few players. A great time to be getting into or back into magic at the moment. M10 limited is what it's all about at the moment, then in a few weeks time we're going to have the release of the new set Zendikar. There will be a pre-release tournament which is your chance to get your hands on the cards before they even go on sale. After that people will be building standard decks featuring these new cards.

Don't worry if you are just a casual player, there's a real mix of players in the shop. And don't worry about losing a few games. Every time you lose a game you learn something new, and you become a better player as a result. If your deck is outclassed the guys will give you some help and advice changes you could make. Welcome to Dublin magic.

If you want to ring Martin for more info or just for a chat before you call in, you can reach him on 0879299392. He runs the shop.

Doesn't look like it. I'd love to, but I don't think I even have enough good cards to make viable deck.

Where do you live. There is EDH in Cork every Monday night. It's mostly a format judges play though. I've played with many a judge at GP's using their own decks and winning every time. Multiplayer is great fun.
