Just wondering is there anybody happy with their o2/vodaphone/3/meteor mobile broadband (yes i know its not broadband)?

If you are happy, post your location.

I'm on o2 and am very happy with mine, when downloading it sits at 240kbps at all times, peak or off peak. I'm in rural Donegal about 7 miles SE of Letterkenny and when that NBS was announced it specifically said that my local exchange will never get BB over the phone, even had an eircom fella tell me that out of the whole of Donegal, my exchange is the least likely to get broadband.:(
Irishbroadband do offer wireless BB but the house next door, (couple of hundred yards away) is blocking me out. So for what i'm paying, i'm happy with o2, anyone else?

Such a self selecting "poll" sends the wrong message to people looking for a service and government.

    It's unfair and misleading.

Of course there are people all of the country that get good speed. What is your latency? What is the population of your area? Is it a mast primarily to serve a road rather than fixed population?

Read this and the links in my signature to see why listing the REAL percentage of people with Good speed, helps destroy Broadband.

I'm in Glasnevin in Dublin and my 3 broadband (USB stick) is constantly losing connection. My fix solution is to remove the stick, take out the modem, wait for a few secs, put it back in, run the Drivers and reConnect. This take about 3 mins but is happening about 10 times a day and I'm fed up - I need to go into a 3 Store and see if there's something wrong with the stick as everytime I ring Support all they ever tell me is that they're "working on it". Pfffff.... plus its an 18 month contract that I've signed up to for e20 a month based on 15GB allocation @ a SUPPOSED 3.2MBS but I only record a .26 MBS rate when I go onto Speedtest.net and thats with all the Bars showing on my coverage....

In Tuam, using N82 and o2 sim getting 460 kb/sec

or in other words 460k/sec faster than the 3 usb stick ****ed on the floor, which wont even let me go onto google.com

You realse too, that if people read this and as a result get 3G Mobile in your area that the speed will quickly drop 1/2, 1/5, 1/12th as a few sign up etc

Ironically the best strategy to keep good 3G speed is to be the sole user in your area.

How right you are Watty...indeed I'm originally from Letterkenny where I can get 1.11 MBS......indeed I just checked it again now (9am as opposed to 10pm last night when I posted) and its shot up to almost 3MBS.....maybe 3 should have a health warning advising early morning usage only!
