Local hardware shop used to do them. Gas prices hike up. No longer stocked.

Homebase Rathfarnham said that they used to, though I've never seen it and they dont stock it now.

I also did a trip around town plus local suburbs looking for it. Couple hours later I arrived home empty handed.

So, in essence, its all BandQ now, which sucks, cause last time I was there it was 14 a can(used to be 11, and local guy had it for 9).

Wonder if you could get a box of them from a trade dealer....

There's an old-style hardware shop to the left of the carpark at the Superquinn store on the Braemor Road, where it meets Camberly Oaks and the Upper Churchtown Road. I got a 400g bottle of propane there for 9 euro a few months ago.

Find the Superquinn, walk left to the pharmacy, go past the restaurant, past the newsagent... should be there somewhere. Absolutely fantastic place.

Bring the adaptor with you, there are two types of cylinder fittings. B&Q and Homebase etc usually stock only the camping type attachment. It's the blue bottle with the 25mm screw that you need.

Thats Supervalue, and the Hardware shop is Churchtown Stores. Been up twice in the last few weeks. No Propane any more, just mapp. But yeah, it was 8.99, lovely.

If enough of us were to ask the owner, he'd soon stock it again though. From what I've heard he's a sound man.
