I've a 4year old boy and 13 year old teenager (including associated parents) to entertain this weekend and no idea's what to do with them. Both love messing around at the beach which will be great is the weather plays ball, not so good if it continues as it currently is. Any idea's welcome.

    Hi there,

Cork's a big place, not sure where you'll be staying, but there's a regatta on in a place in west Cork, Ahakista, this weekend.

There's a big day out on Sunday with boat racing etc. It's a good family day out and there's usually tons of people at it :)

Schull is also a lovely place to visit during the summer! It's right on the water and there's a few lovely shops and cafes down there to check out!

You mentioned the beach - Barleycove beach is gorgeous. Really sandy and when the weather's nice, it's the place to be!
