Hi all, heading to AGP in August with FR, just wondering when you book, a prompt comes up saying:

"If you are travelling to Spain ( incl canaries/balearic islands ) you must provide advanced passenger info which FR are required to forward to the Spanish authorities before flight departure"

Now im wondering where do i submit this info and why did i never have to do this with Aer Arann when i flew from EICM.

Just looking on FR's site now, perhaps the advance info is my details?

Look under Manage My Bookings on the Ryanair site and fill in your passport details in the Advanced passenger details its quite simple.

There is a queue before checkin where your details are taken, if you have not given them already. Unfortunately everybody must join this queue even if you have had your details taken already on the site.

    From ryr.com

    "
Yes, Passengers are required to submit this information after they have completed the booking process or at the latest up to 4 hours prior to flight departure via the 'Manage My Booking' section on the home page of www.ryanair.com. Once this information has been added to your booking, a new API confirmation page will displayed and we recommend that you print this page and retain for your records."

It'll take about 2 minutes to fill out online with Ryanair.com I normally fill them out a few weeks in advance.

When you go to check in online, they'll have your info so there's a few unselectable tabs in the passport type section. don't worry about these if you've given FR the advanced info.

On a semi-related point, Leaving Fracnce Belgium or Germany I've always had to pass the police/immigration people before getting to my gate as I'm Leaving Schengen, but nothing like that in Spain..... I thought the Schengen rules were supposed to be the same all over the area???
