Forgot to mention, rang them up, and they say it starts and drives

I'd recommend you get a list of everything it needs to be properly fixed up first, then when considering that cost, you should have a better idea if its worth it

Get an independent accessor out to check it out firstly. Find out the insurance situation - if it has been written off you will have problems selling down the line. If you want to drive it into the ground and dont mind it having had a bang it could be ok

Will head up tomorrow and have a look, even if you spent 2 grand on it its still nearly €4500 cheaper than the cheapest one on the net,

Thats going to cost a hell of a lot more than €2k to put right. If it was just €2k's worth of damage it would have been fixed up.

It needs a door possibly, a wing, grill, bumper, headlight and an alloy. Thats just the visible stuff from a photo taken in a dark garage. As the car is so new you'll find it hard to get secondhand ones. Also, if the original wheel is goosed it may well need suspension work after a knock

OP, do you honestly think that if this was a cheap fix'r up then it wouldn't have already been repaired?
