    Semesterisation...

Useless info I know, but if it wasn't for semesterisation it would have been on on Friday the 7th of May, just like in 2004.

Most graduates are probably not too aware of semesterisation. Many postgrads I know barely know about it. I'd say very few people currently know the ball's been changed to April next year. So suggesting taking time off in April with no mention of semesterisation might have put you in the "very unsure" category with them. Kearnsr was just trying to be helpful.

All undergrads should know about it. The SU sent an email explaining it and attached a calendar for next year. Email is dated March 21.
The calendar was up on all the SU noticeboards too.. so there wasnt much more they could do... dunno about the postgrads tho

And to be fair, the date for the Ball wanst included in the calendar that was sent around..

SU did a piss poor attempt of informing undergrads.

Their current marketing campaign was only brought about because someone brought a motion to council asking "ehhh wtf is going to happen next year?".
