Probably the most photographed approach on earth.

Still stunning every time I see it!

For the record its equally impressive in reality. Its a great place to hang out if anyone ever gets the chance. I landed there in 2004 in a KLM 747. There is a bar at the end of the runway where topless ladies drink for free! Needless to say its a nice place to hang out for a few hours and watch the take offs and landings. If you stand behind a 747 or A340 the thrust will blow you into the sea!

It's in the Netherlands. Just not the part we'd know as Holland....

You'ld get there via Orly in Paris.

Recent photo on airliners was off a young boy jumping in front of the camera, with a prefectly framed B747 on appraoch between his outstretched hands.

I aim to visit there at some point,I may well be retired and without the wife (no way she come to watch planes with me!) but I will make it someday.
