    Hey,

Just looking round for an Advanced CSS course somewhere in Ireland or the UK. It's hopefully on the company tab so what I'm after is quality that will cover alot on deployment and maintainability in large sites.

I feel I have a strong understanding of alot of things from slectors, specifity and positioning to Fameworks such as BlueprintCSS and YUI Grids. But my know always seems to go out the window when I've written the first few hundred lines of code and have to go back and refactor (having so many developer partials never helps!).

Anyone know of such a course?

    Cheers,
    Denis

I think you'll find it tough to have something like this as a specific course. Maybe some people like ClearLeft or othe may do a one-off training program. Let me know if you find out, i'd be curious about it myself. I think most of the people who need that type of 'enterprise level' CSS are too busy to be writing or talking about it. The best thing might simply to look at some large sites and see what you can garner from the source.

I found these in my bookmarks, but it's probably already stuff you know:

Thanks for the input. I've contacted them and will see what they say. The articles do look like something I've read before but it all helps!

    Thanks

Carsonified might be good to talk to also, check this out:

This doesn't look like a workshop suitable for you, but the guy Dan Cederholm definitely could help you with what you're after. He worked on the Wired.com CSS redesign in 2002 and worked in Google on their apps and stuff for quite awhile. Maybe you could arrange a private training session with him if you have the moola! :)

Out of interest. What type of thing are you working on that you're hitting these problems?
