Right what is the story here...

Sent an email over the weekend to bccourse@tcd.ie and i got an out of office reply stating that he/she will be back on the 2'st of July (last Tuesday.) So fair enough, I take it they meant the 28th. But I wasn't 100% sure (it could be august 21!!) and in the reply email it said to contact sas-user-support-unit@tcd.ie if it was urgent (and it is, coz I'm filling out the BC application). Forwarded the email on a few minutes ago and immediatle I recieved FOUR out of office replys, all of which stated they were on annual leave, from the team of people who recieved the email (via sas-user-support-unit@tcd.ie).

What is the story with that?! I'm not saying that anyone should be denied a holiday, but this is ridiculous! Who do i complain to?

Maybe try ringing up. You might get someone in the office.

I meant to stick that in the post, There's no telephone number on the Borad Curriculum site nor in the peoplefinder Staff Telephone Directory!

Is Bc mandatory or what? All the lads don't seem to have a clue about it and it would be good to know if it is mandatory

AFAIK, if you're doind a Moderatorship, then you have to do one. Other courses do too though.

YEah I read that allready but as far as I can make out it is still optional. Im doing engineering and haven a notion if I have to fill out the application, If I can get away without doing it I will.

Yeah for Engineering, it is optional. You can do BC, a language, or some management in engineering class.
