The ordnance survey is celebrating its 185 birthday in September this year. We are opening a small museum with the old survey equipment and the like.
Me being into vintage/classic cars and an employee of the OSI, I was wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of any of the old survey vehicles like series 1 landrovers or the split screen VW vans.
We will have 2 of the 6, 1924 Austin 20’s used by the British army to survey Australia here on the 6th of September.
    Thanks
    Éamonn

Good to hear from you Dave.. No luck yet, I have a 66 landrover I might just put the OSI colors on it.
It’s only a small museum of the old survey equipment from the 1870’s up to today’s technology. It will be officially opened on the 1st of September here in the phoenix park.
