New Wheels

Hi,

I am looking at getting new wheels for my road bike as I have run the other ones into the ground through commuting and weekend spins.

I am no expect when it comes to the mechanics of the bike and I was just hoping some of you here could help me.

I am considering getting these wheels as I want to keep my budget down, as I plan to buy a new bike anyway early next year.

I think I will also buy a new casette when I get the wheels.

My question is, can I buy any type of casette or do I have to stick with the type of gearing I have? Cause I was thinking of getting a Campagnolo casette but I have 105's gearing

Hi,

IIRC Campag wheels only come with campag compatable freehubs so you'll probably have to look at getting something akin to the american classic conversion cassette if running 10spd.

If you're running 9spd then you might be lucky as I remember that for some reason with a little bit of tweaking campag & shimano 9spd systems will work together.
