    Hi,
    I am thinking of buying a bicycle, I will be on the roads mostly, I am 5'7" , male and wonder what size and which type/model would be the best for entry level, I dont want to spnd a fortune,
    Was looking on ebay for ones, some available there for £200 upwards, which makes are acceptable??

    Double your budget (at least) or buy used.

    ^ Pretty much as Lumen said. Hard to find anything new for less then €400.

    Sounds for that price range and what you are doing wirth it you are best off going for a Hybrid. Giant, Trek, Specialized would be the biggest brands at the moment.

    Buckleycycles.ie in athlone are doing a Giant CRS 3.0 on sale for €289....best price around you'll find for it

    Thx, I am willing to spend more (300-400), just saying I see them from £200 up on ebay, the athlone one seems keen!
