ok, a couple of basic things I need to get a handle on.....

    1.
I currently live in 3.25 channel-land. .i.e reception of TG4 is atrocious. What can I do to improve TG4 reception, without fubar-ing my other 3 channels. ? (aerial is new)

    2.
Because I think there is quite enough to watch on the channels I have, and spend too much time on the couch already, but, I would love to get Discovery, Nat Geo, maybe the History Channel, on their own. But it seems to me I have to buy a bundle of other rubbish to get them. Or do I ? What is the most economical way to get a few key channels like this ? BTW, rural area, so forget cable.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Satellite is your only option. If you want Nat Geo, Discovery, etc, then you're going to have to pay a monthly fee, these are not FTA channels.

TG4 broadcast on different frequencies so it may be clearer on another. Also they have a live stream on tg4.tv
