    Hi lads and ladies!

I've bought stuff from America for ages, and i've been stung with a few customs charges recently, anyone got any clue of the cut off or limits to how much i can buy before the taxman will be expecting his cut?

    Cheers!

Think it is €45 including postage, but from my experience, anything up to €50 gets through.

Here's the link to the sticky in the Online Buying & Auctions forum.

Actually, you'll probably get the best answers there, so I'll move the thread there.

There's a VAT charge and a customs duty charge which are different and have different allowances. The VAT allowance is €22 of the grand total which I assume includes delivery cost.
