Lately i've been thinking of buying some cheap land in the middle of nowhere. Like a few acres you could get for 20 odd grand in some field and set up a work place there.

Basically set up a small cottage maybe to stay in and a shed where i can work on some "green" projects like creating biofuels (from organic waste products), setting up some renewable energy sources (like a windmill and solar panels) and building a car to work on such fuels.

So could anyone help me as to how could i go about doing that??

    cheers!

Cheers for the offer but i haven't yet decided completely on it.
Its just an idea still. I wanna like plan out how much the whole thing is gonna cost and how i could go about doing it.

Like would i have to get planning permission for it and what more legal stuff i'ld have to go through before i can set up the work place and all.
Which is kinda what i wanna know.
Would I have to get planning permission to set up a little cottage on the land and a shed to work in.
Then would setting up an experimental set up and growing your own biofuels and energy and stuff be considered as a sort of commercial/business thing and would i have to go about more legal procedures before i can get about doing it...

Once i've figured that bit out, then i can manage my finances and design my set up before finally setting off to buy a land where I can do all these things.

And thats gonna take a while so I wouldn't wanna keep you waiting... :)
