If I was recently made redundant, does that mean I'm not entitled to tax back

    If I get braces?

    I worked for about a year right after college, and I was let go around April this year.

    If I'm not entitled to tax back - what if I got someone in my family who is employed to pay for my braces? Would they be entitled to tax back?

    Yes, they can claim back the tax relief.
