If there's a specific med you want to know about, ask your pharmacist, who will be happy to oblige. Each month, each pharmacy receives an updated version of the drugs database on CD to update their computer, and it is indicated on the database whether or not each item is covered.
There used to be a loose leaf folder supplied to pharmacies with all the codes (each item that is covered has a 5 digit code), and a printed monthly update, and pharmacies were expected to copy the changes into the relevant pages of their folder. It got way too tedious to keep up, so everyone just relies on the computer now. I don't think the HSE have produced the folder in years. If they did, it would probably be about the size of a good-sized novel. The folder used to be about 3/4 of an inch thick of A5 size sheets.
Do you mind if I ask what a member of the public would want such a list for? I'm just curious.
If you really need to get your hands on a copy, I suspect the Government Publications Office on Molesworth Street might be your best bet, but TBH I'd be surprised if they have it for sale to general public.
