Just switched on and nothing much to report except that Garmin are all wearing skin suits. What's that about, me wonders.

Also, who will be given the honour of rolling over the finish line on the first lap of the Champ-Élysées? Ekimov got that honour in 2006. If not the yellow jersey wearer, might it be Armstrong this year in recognition of his comeback assuming it isn't a breakaway rider?

Does todays stage really need to be over 160km?:P

It's actually a bit longer than that.
They had to cycle through the night from Ventoux to Paris cause of a rail strike.:D

Have to love the bit there where Lance was talking to I think onw of the Skill riders, and Lance asked him what's he doing after this, couldn't hear the other giy's answer, but when he asked Lance replied 'the Tour of Irrrrrrrrrrrrrreland!:D

Edit: It was one of the Quick-Step riders!

Lol,there was a bit if a lull in the commentary and that's how I was able to!

Unless there's a clear break away I'm going for Cav to beat Thor in a sprint!

i was wondering if they might give that a go.... needs 26seconds though, i can't see them being able to stamp a lead like that over astana or indeed will the sprinter teams let them off.... (i'd be more curious of saxo bank having a go of it 4 seconds is all they need to get frank up a place)

San Sebastian is on next weekend, and Roche and Dan Martin are both down on the start list at the moment.

Beyond easy, it might have been nice if Cav never went for it and just sat behind renshaw, after that acceleration he pretty much deserved the win! hincapie's tatical move/speed was perfectly timed too
