I was thinking of getting a lamp for the darker months and trying lamping. I have read about the Blitz and Striker lamps as being very good. Have any of you lads one of these and know of a good place to buy.?

Ya reckon you did

Most gun dealers stock them but buying online is probably cheaper, opticswarehouse.com are very competitive and I've got a good bit of stuff from them as have a few of the lads here too.

I bought the Striker 170 varible power for 150.00 plus delivery, you saved me money marshyc:D

e bay have lightforce lamps for e79, not sure which type think there 140 or 170, and there in ireland so p&p isnt too bad

This always happens to me after i spent my cash:( but i had a look and the one i have bought is the variable power which is a lot more expensive model, besides with the postage those sellers dont appear to be any cheaper than other places.
