    ISSF shooters don't have horns & a tail :D;)

I had a long chat during the week with one of the countries top ISSF shooters.

    Won't name him here :P

He showed myself and a few of my shooting buddies his kit and explained the basics of ISSF shooting and answered all our questions.

Really nice guy and a great ambassador for ISSF shooting.

We are all the same band of tinkers really

A certain SB perhaps? If so, aye, nice lad and has been showing a few lads from MNSCI the ropes. They're getting the hang of it quickly too.

    Ya that's him ;)

Watch out a few of us might make the change  :P

More than welcome to. Was great to see MNSCI actually field a full team for the nationals this year, and do respectably too. It's a facility that'd train good shooters if they were interested, and with the lads training there, anyone starting will learn a lot.

Here's the write-up on the match. No embarrassing scores there. Well done for a first effort. Will we be seeing you on the team next time? ;)

It would also be good to see more people doing ISSF Pistol. I was in Rathdrum today for the Summer Standard pistol competition. I always enjoy shooting this competition, and we are made very welcome in Rathdrum. Thanks again guys!

From my perspective, in the rifle end of things, the bigger the pool of shooters we have, the more we can do. For instance, not everyone is going to do 3P or any of the 300m disciplines, but the more shooters we have, the more of those disciplines we'll have an interest in and the more matches will get run. Conversely, the more disciplines we offer, the more interest we generate, so it's a publicity issue.

That's completely untrue and a slur on all ISSF shooters. You just weren't looking hard enough.

No more of these unfounded accusations please.

    :D

ISSF shooters aren't horny and don't chase tail?

They're too young for that sort of thing - sasparilla and a space hopper and off to bed after supper for them.

    B'Man
