    Looking for some advice guys...

I've been offered a Bianchi ML3 bike, aluminium frame, carbon forks, ultegra rear derailleur, 105 front derailleur and cranks, standard wheels for 600 euro.
Bike is about 5 yrs old, high miles and frame is really tatty but.....it's a BIANCHI!
I know spec is good but frame is very rough with scratches, marks etc.
Seller won't shift 1 cent below asking price, so....is it worth asking price??
Need some honest advice from someone who knows better than I.

    Thanks

Wrong forum for this, this is adverts. However, if the Bianchi lights your fire then go for it. Is it overpriced ? Of course and its probably 9 speed as well if its 5 years old. If its tatty, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole unless it was cheaper and I was going to use it as a winter hack bike. If a frame is tatty, I would not imagine that the rest of it is in good condition. Probably every part of the bike needs replacing at this stage or soon will do.

If you must have the badge the Nirone with Xenon gear is not an enormous amount more from Slane Cycles, ok so its Xenon mostly but current bottom of the range Campy stuff is good.....

Of course you could Slum it and go even cheaper by putting (spit) Sora on it...

And if you just happened to be a size 55, theres a decent value older Ultegra one...

Also, if you are getting a Bianchi, it must be (or contain) Celeste Green, and it must have Campagnolo gear on it. Shimano on a Bianchi ? Please. I am a Shimano/SRAM man myself, but if you are buying an italian stallion to pose on get it right please ! You can't have anything other than Campag on an italian bike. Its the law.

i wouldn't do it, not knowing much but it seems alot for a scruffy bike. save a little and get one of the new ones Quigs Snr was on about

Ok, firstly apologies for being in the wrong forum, mods etc if l should be somewhere else please advise.
Well it seems the only thing in its favour is that it is celeste green!
lt is 9 spd and its shimano not campy, also its been used for triathalons by the current owner and looks like its been through a few in its time.
Guy claims to have paid 1400 5 yrs ago so l'm thinking....yeah for 600 it'll do for an all rounder, polish it up, new handlebar tape, maybe new wheels and if l scratch it...so what?
l know l could get a tidy 08/09 Specialized Allez for the same money so all advice welcome, whatever it may be...........

Thanks to Quigs for the heads up, managed to get a 53cm C2C xenon in celeste from slanecycles, which will be delivered tomorrow (for free)

He has one left in celeste if anyone's interested

Good luck with it. I hear the Xenon rides really well for supposedly lower end Campagnolo. Looks like you get look pedals too for the price, if so, great deal. I hear Slane have great customer service too. I ordered Zipps from them earlier in the year which were out of stock but by way of apology they offered me a discount off them when they came in, was well impressed (but didn't get the wheels in the end)

Don't forget to post pics when you get it in the post images of beauty thread...

+1 on slane, very good to deal with. I had to return a jacket that I sized incorrectly, and they didn't charge me for shipping it again and were extremely easy to communicate with (the emails exchanged back and forth were casual and friendly, not the usual internet fare).

    Yup, thumbs up for slanecycles.
Friendly and professional service, bike was delivered by GLS 2 days later.
