    Hello All
    Wanted - any information on location of
    Audi 5 cylinder Turbo engines
    they came in 10v and 20v
    these were fitted from 1980 to 1991
    100 t
    200 t
    quattro
    S2

    might also be interested in complete car

    If you can't find an Audi 5 cylinder then the closest thing you will get is a Volvo unit.

    Audi 5 cylinders are great engines. They go on forever if looked after properly and they sound great.
    I think you have your dates wrong though - the S2 (5 cyl turbo) was made up to about 1995/6 I think and the S6 (5 cyl turbo) up until 1997.

    I've the last of these type of engines (AAN) in my 1996 S6 Avant. 228 bhp as standard but lots more can be squeezed from it with relatively minor mods I believe. The AAN has a much less convoluted inlet manifold layout than the S2 or the UR Quattro so depending on what you are putting the egine into that's the one you should look for.

    I'm toying with selling it at the moment, but that's probably no use to you as I assume you're just looking for a scrapper that will yield an engine.

    i know you wont like this , and i am sorry for saying this but there was a audi 100 turbo'd one given away in mullingar i have a 1990 audi 80 standard 1.8 and had considered it , was given away about 5 months ago , so again sorry but they do exsist ,and u can be lucky .......so if you want a 1.8 you can have my car complete drives and all but need to bring your own wheels as want to keep the wheels on it
