Nicest resort in Lanzarote or Tenerife

    I'm looking to book a holiday for the end of Oct/Nov. I want to go for less than a week so am looking at direct flights. I wanted to go to Peurto Rico but can't fly to Gran Canaria directly from where I am. I can only get flights to Lanzarote & Tenerife.

    Can someone tell me what the nicest resort would be? Somewhere similar to Peurto Rico? I'm not looking for someone mad and won't be doing much clubbing etc just somewhere nice with good restaurants that's not totally dead.

    I go to Puerto Rico a lot so I know it well. Been to Lanzorate a good few times as well. Puerto Del Carmen is where most people looking for a good mix of Irish bars are. Some bars would be simialar to Puerto Rico. There is a big choice to choose from but a lot more spread out than Puerto Rico, and a bit more pricey. Irish bars are a bit more pricey. Los Crstinos in Tenerief a nice choice of bars and lovely resturants. Las Americas has a lot more bars suited to 18yrs plus.
