PPS Number for about a year old i applied but never worked

    Problem I have is

My company in London was paying my insurance and tax . The compay has gone bust . They took the tax disk and I have a new one which started this month July 09 .

For insurance I have a leeter from my compay that I was covered from the JAN to June 09 uder their fleet policy .

What do you guy think will i get exemption.

( My car is worth 11000£ in UK and VRT is 9174 euro )

    Many Thanks

should do...I think once you won it for 6 months and have all that documentation, should be ok.

if you're think of selling though I don't think you can for the first 12 months

Wait I think I am missing something. The company you were working for has gone bust, but you got to.

    A. Keep your car
    B. Want to bring it here without paying VRT.

I'd take it that he owned the car himself despite them paying the road tax on it; and you are legitimately allowed bring over your personal car without VRT when moving here; with restrictions. Which he seems to comfortably meet, so is allowed.

I think the VRO may require that the car have been insured by you for the 6 months preceding your move.
