Just out of having nothing better to do I was on the ikea.ie website. I live down the road so I had a look at the map to see where this new store actually was. There's also a handy little tool where you put in your location and it gives you directions. So being curious I put in Whitehall which is, in my opinion down the road from this new store. The ikea directions kindly informed me that it would take approximately 14 hours 30 minutes to get to Ballymun from Whitehall !! That's an awful lot of traffic or is it just a roundabout way of going ? Because according to ikea DOT IE which claims to be the official Dublin ikea website, it seems to give out directions from the UK. Apparently, there's a Whitehall in the Orkney Islands too and the one 10 mins down the road isn't recognised. Typical foreign stores!.

The mapping is Google's, so its not IKEA's fault.

There is no accounting for ignorance and xenophobic behavior/attitudes.

If u put in, Whitehall, Dublin (as suggested in the example on the site
    [Get directions
Start address e.g. "Talbot St DUBLIN1"]

    then it does it correctly.
