    yep i got one last week or the week before works perfect with my tv and macbook. I love it!

    What type of MacBook do you have OP? Is it the plastic white/black model or the aluminium model? This definitely won't work with the aluminium one. I can't say how good it would be with the plastic one, but at least the connection is the correct one.

    Yeah I have the plastic one. I have already bought a Mini-DVI to VGA adapter on Ebay and it works well. But this one caught my eye as I have never seen direct HDMI output adapter for the MacBook.

    I don't really see the point in these if you have a VGA connection in the TV and the adapter that comes with the laptop as you would have to carry audio separately

    Well I have to carry the audio separately whatever method I use, be it VGA or HDMI. After doing a bit of research, I have discovered that a HDMI output will look better than VGA.

    looks the same but i bought mine from 9direct not the seller in that one. I've the white plastic one as well :)
