I know this was a thread previously but its quite old now (2006) and having checked Dublin Bus's excuse for a website today it seems all the 84N and 84X timetable links dont work.

So just wondering if anyone can advise the current timetable for the 84N coming home from town at the weekend (assume it still goes from College Green?) and if it goes to Charlesland? Same for Finnegans.

    Any info much appreciated! :D

If my memory serves me right the times are 12, 2 and 4.
Its a long time since i got a night link so it could have changed.

It departs from the front of Pearse st Garda station.

If in doubt you could ring them (01) 703 3177

Email could be an option too but i doubt you will get a response till Monday.

thanks damo - youre right and its still the same so for anyone whos interested its 12, 2 and 4 from the last stop opposite pearse street garda station. €5 to greystones, last stop the dart station (but if you have a nice driver like i did yest theyll drop you up at charlesland cos thats the way they go to get back out to the main road - why they dont extend the service is beyond me!!!)

they don't always go back that way - its actually a lot shorter to do a u-turn at the station and go back via the southern cross. but you're right, it could easily be extended to Charlesland.

Its amazing to see a double decker bus make a 3 point turn on Greystones main street with a fer pints on you. My GF called me a big kid as i stood in amazement wondering how he it was possible in such a small space.

The finnegans bus leaves o connell st at 1am and 3am - I've got the 3am and it goes up through charlesland

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
