why won't my unlocked iphone work very well with meteor??:(

    hello,

    I got my brothers old 2g iphone. for some reason i have had trouble getting phone calls, sometimes it will work other times it wont. it goes to my voicemail or that lady comes on saying this phone cannot be reached right now. Also my messages are delayed, i get them about 3 hours later after the person has sent them?

    Any ideas?
    i live in a suburban area and i haven't had any problems with the coverage before.

    i'm with meteor. also alot of the times i have at least 3 bars of coverage but it still i dont get the calls. Me and my brother have done some tests and he has his new iphone in one hand call my iphone in the other and sometimes it will work, some times it wont???

    Have you tried the sim in another phone? Or tried another sim in your iPhone?

    I'm having the same problem at the moment. I'm receiving texts hours later after they were sent. Also, it's very very hot. rejailbreaking it now see does it make a difference

    Just rejailbreaked and unlock my iPhone there, it seems to have solved the problem. Clerxy, jailbreak and unlock it again.

    im havin same problem myself rejailbroke it still no joy maybe its the sim card

    its very hot aswell and battery is a going in few hours

    try updating ultrasnow within cydia.... worked for same problem for me

    yeah for some reason my computer had a problem with all the unlocking software so i had to go to someone to get mine unlocked, which cost €25. so i really dont want to have to go and get it unlocked again costing me money again!!



    can it just be because i took my sim out because that seems crazy!

    ok so i went got it unlocked again, thankfully the guy did it for free. but no my iphone still isn't working. it seemed fine and working when i put my sim in the phone but when i got it back and put all my info back on the phone it stopped working again.

    I'm begining to think that it had something to do with updating itunes, i didn't update my iphone its still on 3.0 firmware. so i'm really not sure whats going on.

    I'd doubt it has anything to do with iTunes, I'm on iTunes 9 and it's grand.
