Sony DAV DZ260, Optical Toslink input broken? (No sound)

    Optical Toslink input broken?

    Title pretty much says it all, I had my Sky+ box connected to the amp via the optical toslink input and a few days ago there was just no sound coming through the speakers. I then tried with my blu-ray player and still nothing. The cable itself is still working I think because I've tried two different ones with the same results and when connected to the Sky+ box or the BD player you can see the red laser/light at the other end, but when connected to the amp there is nothing at the other end of the cable.

    It was working fine before and I didn't change the settings on anything before it stopped working, so I think it might be broken.

    Its still under warranty (7 months since purchase) but I don't really want to send it off to get fixed.

    Any help would be appreciated thumbsup.gif


    Edit: There is no problem with the coaxial digital input.
