hi, i sincerely hope that i'm allowed to ask this question in this forum!

i used to have a residential parking permit in limerick but moved house.
so how do i go about getting a new one for the new address?

    1. do i need to change my address on the vehicle registration certificate?

    2. how do i do that?

    3. do i need to change my address on the register of electors?

please comment if you have any experience with this.

All I know is that you need proof of your new address and should not hold on to your current permit.

Yet, there are limited permits for each street in the city. Hopefully all the permits are not gone.

Yes you will have to change both those documents. You change the Vehicle registration cert by filling out the section on the back page of it and send it to the department of transport in shannon. You would also have to change ur address on the register of electors. You will also need the letter with you new address on it e.g. an ESB bill or a phone bill. I would be certain that city hall would treat it like a totally new application for a permit. I doubt they would give u any leeway for having already had a permit. Thats the way they do business down there, unfortunately.
