Is it possible to get to Enniskerry from Knockree via the Dargle river (at least I think its the Dargle)? Or via some other access route that does not involve walking along a road?

I've no problem with road walking as long as there is not much traffic, but I know from experience that these roads can be quite busy and most have no footpaths.

Trouble is the Dargle goes through Powerscourt Springs health spa, the Charleville demesne and round the back of Powerscourt, which is probably all private property.
