Used to like WRC and the Colin McRae games for PS2.

    Anything similer for PS3?

Colin Mcrae DIRT or Sega Rally most obvious ones anyway. GRID is a good driving game too but not rally.

Dirt is the best out there - its from codemasters the same guys that used do the Colin mc Rae games . see the link below

Grid is also good as a racing game. Currently only € 13 on play.com

Can only recommend DIRT, the best I've played anyway.

Ditto. Don't expect a Colin McRae or WRC experience though. The game is good, but handles more like an arcade game then as a good example of rallying. It's more aimed towards the American market though. There is DiRT2 due this year so that should address some of those issues. You should get it second hand cheap enough!

GT5 has rallying in it too, though not out yet obviously

Dirt is colin Mcrae they just dropped the name after he was killed in a crash. Its about the best out there Sega rally is eally really bad.

Dirt was pretty much 30 euro straight after release so look for a very good price for it.

Its an entertaining game but not very realistic. Not that bad though and at least there is no nitro boost in it :P

Grid is basically the same game on a track with rewinds if you crash so you can rewind time to before the accident which was a good idea and is apparently in the next Forza game.

The next Forza is probably the real next racing game to look forward to at this stage although no rallying in that either that I know of.

Rallying (WRC) has lost popularlity recently since major manufacturer packed out as it wasn't getting the audience numbers apparently (I always watched it) so I imagine the franchised games have gone now too so we'll see less and less of them.

Shame and I can't help but feel WRC didn't get high ratings (at least here) because of the time it was on at.

Welcome to the Playstation forum :)

Oops, I had several tabs open lol. :pac:

In that case Gran Turismo is probably the best bet. Don't know if it will have rallying in it.

I didn't like the rallying in the earlier ones anyway. I'd like to see it but implemented right. Since its supposed to have damage too, rallying should be possible to do well.
