IRCSET Funding Extension

    Just wondering if anyone was succesfull with their application for an IRCSET funding extension this year? Seemed to be a lot more difficult with all the cuts in funding by the government.

    In my institute plenty of people normally get it. This year one person got it. Work production is up 100% though.

    Interesting Brow, that's the first successful case I've heard of so far. Pity they stopped giving the 6months out willy nilly!

    It's a bit harsh to simply stop funding without at least a years notice though. Most people I know count on it and while some don't deserve it, for the one person I would have said should have received (she's has always worked weekends!), didn't :(

    PS. That person wasn't me, I was never lucky enough to get IRCSET funding...
