Self build - Mobile home / not ??

    Hi,
    I'm about to start building soon and I am wondering whether or not to put a mobile home on the site or not. Has anyone done this before and if they have what advice could you offer?

    technically you need planning to put to a mobile home on a site even for the duration of a house build.

    I was going to put a Mobile home up for my build but once the council wanted complete drawings for the mobile home and a full planning submission it worked out cheaper to rent a home near by.

    If you have not completed your planning application then it would be worth it, if not then you need to have a long and hard think.
