    Hi,

Just wondering has anybody attended this over the past few weeks. Is it worth while?

    Cheers

I was there on Wednesday. You spend about 45 -55 mins listening to presentations about admissions, orientation and student support, then coffee/tea with lots of time to ask questions/chat to staff and students. If you want, you can do a tour of the campus in a small group, concentrating on which ever bit you are particularly interested in, e.g. arts or science, etc.
The prospective students asked very few questions but the mammies all wanted to know about accommodation and other practical considerations. If you don't know the campus or are feeling intimidated about attending UCD, it is a good way to start.
