I'm heading out in town with a young lass tomorrow night but only have 40euro to my name :o Gettin paid on a monday this month!

Being realistic I know this princely sum isn't going to get me too far. I'm trying to come up with an idea to double my money. 80euro should suffice. I wouldn't be too keen on gambling as I tend to be unlucky in that regard and don't want to end up with nothing^^ any body any bright ideas???

Might even stoop to selling some old CDs/ Books which I feel is a crime considering the paltry amounts they pay for them these days.

If she's worth taking out she'll understand that you're broke and settle for a night in with a DVD

Pile it into a wad and cut it in half.

There's no easy way to double you're money without gambling of some sort, if there was we'd all be doing it! Obvious thing I suppose would be to ask for a loan from a friend.

first thing you need to do is warm up your time machine. While its self callibrating and getting up to operating temperatures you need to develop a strong work ethic. Maybe picturing going on a date with no money would help? Then you need to go back in time a minimum of a month and earn some extra money.

This could be a plan. I could then get a heap of drink and a pizza with the 40euro and sit in for the night.:D

Not gonna ask this girl to sit in with a DVD etc as someone suggested - it's first date so she might not be up for that.

    Put it on Red.

Roulette could be tempting....whats the minimum bet in those places? wouldn't be wagering the full amount...

Do not sign up to Paddypower. I did this. Spent 20 quid and won €110. Yes really. Then I started fiddling around with it and ended up losing everything.

Very true, I lost my Jocks on it once.

But really, I have a gambling problem, why am I in this thread.
