    A new antique grinder!

This was given to me as a gift last week, I was well chuffed.
It's been around since the 50's and still works perfectly.

    It's a Leinbrock-Werke

Unfortunately there is no stamp on teh bottom, but you can still read the patent office indent on the top.

The hopper is made of porcelain and the Burrs , albeit somewhat dirty, can be seen

and now for the important part, the grind!
This is on the highest possible setting given the stiffness of the mechanics. I had to use a wrench and some help to get it there.

And finally, A comparison of grinds between this Antique and my Kyocera.

The Kyocera had just been cleaned and I think I might have left the setting on Turkish, or close enough :D

    And there you have it.
I'm toying with the idea of emailing Orphan espresso for tips on how to refurbish it, however, the Parents of my Other half (Ones who gave the gift) have asked that I do not open it so I must be very cautious before proceeding with any refurbishments.
