So i'm moving apartments, just rang sky and they told me i gotta pay €77 minimum for someone to come over and install a dish and get me set up.

I'm ragin! Surely they should be glad of the ongoing business and not be chargin for that sort of thing as they have introductory offers the whole time!

Anyone any experience of this, Ntl is readily available there so i could ring up sky and say i'd switch companies if they don't look after me but dunno would that help...anyone any experience of gettin outta the €77minimum (and why minimum...!?)

Very cheap for a new dish, new quad LNB and two coax cables, four connectors, mounting bolts and time. The real cost is x2 to x3 as much.

You own the all gear. You can DIY move it.

It's a minimum incase there is anything awkward about the install.

And bear in mind that in your new apartment you may not be allowed to erect a dish, they may have a communal sat system already in place, they may also have a sole tv provider for the complex, ntl, magnet etc....
You may also not have a line of sight from your new dwelling, but im sure you've thought of all this already..
