I used to work in HB years ago going around with the Driver packing the fridges
and looking after orders. Fat Frogs seemed to be the one Ice lolly that always
seemed to come deformed, headless, or the body shape or details were not quite right.

There were popular for a while but the where I delivered to, they did not seem to sell,
They were kinda used as a "filler" ice-pop.

Old Cornetto, reigned supreme for being the expensive ice-cream until
the likes of Magnums etc made their appearance.

My sister and me used to go to the shop for the paper for my Dad and two fat frogs. The ads were class. They were lovely and refreshing even though yes they were deformed on a regular basis. Does anyone remember the Chilly Willy ice pop???? I liked the black ones best.

Did I not see Fat Frogs in Lidl last week? I think there was a box of various HB ice creams, like WibblyWobblyWonder and a few others. Maybe I imagined it

I miss them so much, the last one I ever saw was scoffed down by my neighbour. Does anyone remember the dinosaur ones, with the green on the outside and the red on the inside?

Does anyone remember the Mario ice-cream? It looked like the Nintendo character Mario's face on an ice cream stick. I found this online but if I remember correctly, it had chocolate ice-cream where the red is on that picture.

Would've been available in the early to mid-1990s, I reckon.

I loved fat frogs. Every so often though you'd get one that tasted a bit like washing up liquid, which was odd.

Much as i loved them, the occasional one did taste a bit off. Folks were very strict when it came to things like that... so they were a rarity.

Ye they should defo be brought back! What ever happened to the fat frog drinks also? They seemed to be the most popular drink around, a few years ago!

Fat frogs are still around, you can get pre-made bottled ones at the local offies.
I'd say you can still get them in pubs and clubs freshly made, I mean how hard can it be to mix up one bottle each of Smirnoff Ice, Blue WKD and orange Bacardi Breezer?

Oh my God! These were my favourite. I can just taste them now. Fabuolous! They should def bring the, back. I remember being so careful not to bite off the head first as it was a mean thing to do ???? children are so sensitive
