Printed-off Tickets

I bought tickets from the GAA website for the Quarters, but they won't be posted out, I'll have to print them off. Will Croke Park accept these though? I mean like they will probably think they're forged or something will they? They will be on normal paper so would that look dubious? Have any of ye used printed-off tickets at Croke Park before and if so, is there a different stile or something ya have to go through etc.?

    Thanks in advance!

The barcode is exactly the same as a 'normal' ticket. The ticketfast method has been in operation for a number of years and all the ticket gates at Croke Park accept them, the same as 'normal' tickets, it does not distinguish between the two.

Follow the instructions on the ticket as to which gate to use.

Which quarters by the way? I was under the impression the hurling is not in Croke Park and the football draw has not taken place, so tickets therefore are not on sale.

Thanks alot for the reply(I was freakin' out a bit!)

Well I bought tickets for the Mayo Quarter and Semi Combo. The tickets won't be issued til next week some time but you can pre-buy them as a ticket package-Great seats available too! The football quarters are more than likely going to be in Croke Park, if the pitch is ok after U2 do their concerts.

    Thanks!!!:)

Also, just one last question! I bought 4 tickets, so when i print them out, will there be one page for each ticket, or will all 4 be printed on the same page? Do ya have to cut them out, or just give the page(s) to the gate fella?

(sorry for all the questions, i usually get my tickets from the club or Ballyhaunis!)

1 page for each ticket and they simply scan the barcode on the ticket. You retain the page to find your seat.

I would show you how they look but some thieving sod might take advantage and get there before me in Thurles! :D

I've done the GAA's Dual Deal package. That entitles to all football and hurling quarter finals and semi finals, all for €175. I'd go to them all anyway, so this saves me a few euro. It also takes away the problem of trying to get tickets for the bigger matches. No matter who gets there, I intend going to the finals too, and if Dublin get to one or other or both, the Parnell Pass scheme, of which I am a member, should guarantee me a ticket too. So potentially my ticket worries for the rest of the championship are over. :D
