Was firing my mp7 today and it fired off about 2 shots then nothing. After much tinkeringc and testing i have found out its not the mechbox, motor or battery but somewhere in the section in the photo below. i connect the battery straight to the motor bypassing this and it works fine. Any ideas much appreciated

The connectors for the wiring can work loose, have a test of those, bar that its a trigger mech issue.

Its common enough for them to give hassle on the trigger contacts, it mght just be a case of bending them slightly to make a connection, also check theres nothin preventing the triggr block from moving forward to complete the contacts. try them on a multimeter and you'll be able to pin point the problem better.

where abouts are the contacts located? do you have to take it apart?

the trigger contacts are at both ends of those fuse strips. you have to take a couple of screws out as far as i can remember but its not difficult to do.

nevermind back to square one, once i put that piece in it doesnt work, take it out and its does. could shorting or any ideas, pressure on the sides of it have no effect so it cant be the mp7 casingr

Does The Battery Heat Up loads When ur firing Almost burning"!

I recon i have the exact same problem, and yes the battery starts to burn when trying to fire, so i figure one of two either a short circuit or the battery just cant cope with the drain the engine is demanding.
Anyone one has any thoughts ?

it was a problem with trigger mech and tappet plate but all sorted now

The trigger bit is the part thats leaving me a bit ... "not to easy", i've seen too much report of this gun failing randomly and suposedly all due to electrical issues.

Can you elaborate on it .. and perhaps give me a hint as to how to get to it ... cause i've only gone so far as to get the barrel and mech out :)

The problem: Galaxy MP7 Does Not Work
The Cause: Its a Galaxy MP7
The Solution: Throw said gun in the bin.

It will just keep braking, dont bother with it.

Well these guns are "made" from Tokyo Marui MP7, they are clones but in order for the clone bit to be appliable everything must be the same.
So the quality of the conductors might be a bit more sleezy .. but that is fixable. dont you agree ?
But yes your right he gun just gives heaps of trouble.

The problem lies in the materials, not the dimensions/design. The plastic in the whole trigger/selector section is kack, and the selector arm back to the gearbox is to flexible. Pops off the little nub that controls semi/full.
