Taking ages to finish, its over a year since it started nearly and they seem to be starting another small bit every few weeks. Whats the story like? Just when you think its over BAMMM they dig up another part and cause more inconveince.

Rome wasn't built in a day!
It's not an easy contract to fulfill but in all fairness they seem to be doing well.A large amount of their work has to be done when tide levels suit.
Bad weather sets back the completion date. What has been done to date looks to be of good quality, the stonework on the raised wall at parnell carpark is second to none. The goal of this project is to prevent future flooding in the town and also keep it pleasing to the eye. With any civil works in a built up area there is going to be inconviences, but in fairness they have kept it to a minimum. The traders on Parnell ST have complained about the lack of parking while this project is ongoing and that is an issue with the council,But i have not heard them complain about the quailty or the timeframe of the job.Personally ,i think it will be well worth the inconvenience.
